The Georg Forster Research Award is awarded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through the Humboldt Foundation to researchers from developing and transition countries in recognition of their entire body of work and potential for further contributions. The award supports researchers for a project duration of about six to twelve months, with a total funding amount of €60,000 awarded to up to six recipients annually.

Eligibility
