Canada Fund for Local Initiatives – Dominican Republic 2026

Funding opportunity for local development projects in the Dominican Republic. The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) supports small-scale, high-impact projects aligned with Global Affairs Canada priorities, with the majority of funding directed to local civil society organizations and partners. Projects are selected by the relevant Canadian embassy or high commission and must be completed within the project period.

Open to local non-governmental, community and not-for-profit organizations legally incorporated in the Dominican Republic; local academic institutions; international NGOs operating in the Dominican Republic; multilateral and regional institutions; and Canadian NGOs working on local development activities in partnership with local organizations.
