Canada Fund for Local Initiatives – Thailand 2025 (up to $30,000)

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives – Thailand 2025 provides funding to support small-scale, high-impact projects in Thailand that align with Global Affairs Canada’s priority areas. Projects are conceived and designed predominantly by local partners and are selected by the relevant Canadian embassy or high commission. Typical grants help with local development activities and bilateral relations.

Financial support for project activities (grants), potential for bilateral government engagement and strengthened local partnerships.

Eligible recipients include local NGOs, community and not-for-profit organizations, local academic institutions, international NGOs operating locally, governmental institutions or agencies in Thailand, and Canadian NGOs working on local development activities.

Submit a concept note outlining project purpose, activities and expected outcomes (Stage 1); shortlisted applicants may be invited to complete a full application with budget (Stage 2).
