Information

The USAAAO First Round is the initial stage of the US National Astronomy Competition leading to the National Astronomy Competition (NAC) and selection for the US IOAA team. The exam is proctored in-person at the student's school and covers introductory astronomy and astrophysics topics. Successful participants may qualify for the NAC, national medals, training camp, and possible selection to represent the US at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics.
