Sozialstipendien

Social scholarships (Sozialstipendien) at ETH Zürich are institutional scholarships for students enrolled at ETH. There are separate application windows and information for Swiss (and settled foreign) students and for international students. Applications are submitted via the ETH online tool eSTIP and applicants may need to apply first at cantonal scholarship offices where applicable.

Swiss students and settled foreign students must first submit an application at the cantonal scholarship office of their parents' canton; bachelor students may submit an ETH application after passing the basis examination and master students (without an ETH BSc) after completion of the second semester (40 ECTS). International students must clarify in their home country whether they receive an outbound scholarship.
