Information

The UNODA Youth for Biosecurity Fellowship 2026 is a three-month programme for emerging biosecurity leaders from the Global South. It includes online webinars, a collaborative poster project, and a five-day in-person visit to Geneva during the BWC Working Group meetings in August 2026. Successful fellows receive travel and subsistence support for the in-person visit and participate in an international network and knowledge-building activities.

Eligibility

Applicants must be under 35, be citizens of a BWC State Party in the least developed country, low- or lower/upper-middle-income category, and hold an advanced degree in life sciences or a related field with proficiency in English.
