A small internal funding opportunity run by the Emory University Linguistics Program to support undergraduate student research projects and conference travel. Funding is limited each academic year and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Priority is given to declared Linguistics, Psychology & Linguistics, and Spanish & Linguistics majors, students who have not previously received funding from the program, projects supervised by core Linguistics faculty, and projects with a clear focus on Linguistics.

Eligibility

Undergraduate students may request funding; priority is generally given to declared Linguistics, Psychology & Linguistics (PsycLing), and Spanish & Linguistics (SpanLing) majors, students who have not previously received funding from the Linguistics Program, projects supervised by core Linguistics faculty, and projects with a clear focus on Linguistics, particularly those being presented at Linguistics conferences.

Application

Download and complete the Linguistics research funding application and budget proposal and submit the completed forms to Darnishia Bolden, the Linguistics Academic Coordinator.
