Welcome to Poland 2026

A grant programme to strengthen the internationalisation of Polish higher education and research institutions by supporting institutional capacity to welcome and serve international students, doctoral candidates, researchers and academic staff. Projects can fund activities such as staff competence development, infrastructure and support points for international mobility, information and promotional activities, and development of digital tools. The programme supports initiatives like establishing or developing Welcome Centres, training sessions and workshops for university staff, and activities fostering openness and intercultural competences. Funding is awarded to eligible institutions within the Polish higher education and science system.

Project funding between PLN 300,000 and PLN 550,000; project implementation periods of 12, 18 or 24 months; support for activities such as staff training, infrastructure, digital tools and promotional activities.

Entities operating within the Polish higher education and science system; each institution may submit one application.

Submit an application via NAWA’s ICT system (programs.nawa.gov.pl) by the stated deadline; each institution may submit one application.
