The Women’s Fellowship on Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change (HMCCC) 2026 is a regional leadership and capacity-strengthening programme designed to empower young women across the ECOWAS region to advance gender-responsive solutions to climate-induced human mobility challenges. The fellowship aims to strengthen women’s leadership in climate mobility governance, build capacity for addressing climate-related displacement, and support community-based pilot projects through regional collaboration among emerging women leaders.

Eligibility
Open to young women aged 18–35 years from ECOWAS Member States who are passionate about climate action, human mobility, gender equality, and community development.
