About this opportunity
The ICGEB Fellowships for Scientists in Biosecurity offer early-career scientists from OECD/DAC countries a fellowship at ICGEB laboratories to receive hands-on training in life sciences and detection and response to biological threats. The program is hosted across laboratories in Italy, India, South Africa, and China, with co-funding from international partners. The fellowships include laboratory experience, a stipend, travel support, health insurance, and visa/permit cost coverage for the duration of the fellowship.

Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals of an ICGEB Member State or from a country listed in the DAC list of ODA recipients, be early/mid-career scientists with a background in biotechnologies, and women scientists are particularly encouraged.
How to apply
Submit an application to the ICGEB through the designated channels; contact a Group Leader/PI with a motivation letter to determine space and to define the research project; a written statement from the supporting Group Leader is required.
