About this opportunity

The EMBL-UNESCO Residency in Infection Biology is a research fellowship opportunity for advanced female scientists affiliated with African institutions. Selected fellows will be hosted by an EMBL research group within the Infection Biology Transversal Theme for up to three months to work on an ongoing project, improving wet lab and/or computational skills and expanding an international scientific network. EMBL provides financial and logistic support including visa, travel and accommodation for the duration of the stay.

Eligibility

Open to female scientists in infection biology who are primarily affiliated with an African institution and are advanced PhD researchers, postdoctoral fellows, or tenure-track group leaders (within 5 years).
