About this opportunity

The Resilience and Sustainability Science Postdoctoral Fellowship supports up to five postdoctoral researchers conducting independent, interdisciplinary research on resilience and sustainability themes. Fellows use the Smithsonian’s resources to study interactions between natural and social systems, including tropical rainforests, oceans, and human communities, and to address real-world environmental challenges. The program provides a stipend and a research allowance for the fellowship period (24 months, in residence).

Eligibility

Must have or will have the Ph.D. by the time the fellowship begins.
