High-Level Scientific Fellowships in France

The Embassy of France in Canada, in partnership with Campus France, invites international PhD students and early-career postdoctoral researchers from Canadian universities (excluding French citizens) to undertake a 2-month research mobility in France. The program provides an opportunity to conduct research with a French host institution, supported by a stipend and travel arrangements. Applicants must have a confirmed host in France and be available for the 2-month stay in 2026.

Round-trip airfare, monthly stipend, health and liability insurance.

PhD students or early-career postdoctoral researchers (0–5 years after PhD) affiliated with a Canadian university (outside Quebec), not holding French citizenship, and having a host researcher or institution in France; available for a 2-month research stay in 2026.

Submit a single PDF (under 6 MB) by email containing the completed application form, a 1-page research project letter, a letter of support, an invitation letter from the host, and a copy of the passport.
