Justice, Equity, Diversity and Sustainability Initiative Summer Fellowship at Yale University

Applications for JEDSI’s diversity pathway programs open today. The initiative runs two programs that match and support students historically underrepresented in the environmental sector into summer internships. The Yale Conservation Scholars – Early Leadership Initiative is for undergraduates, while the Environmental Fellows Program targets graduate students (master’s and PhD) for fellowships with environmental and philanthropic organizations.

Stipend for summer internships, professional development, career consultations, travel opportunities, and potential conference funding.

Undergraduate students (including December 2024 and May 2025 graduates) and graduate students (master’s or PhD) from historically underrepresented groups in environmental institutions are eligible to apply for the respective programs.
