The Young Climate Leaders of Color (YCLC) program, run by the People’s Climate Innovation Center, is a year-long program for up to 40 young leaders of color. It provides a $5,000 stipend and supports climate justice education, leadership development, and project funding, connecting participants with experienced mentors and activists. The program includes virtual learning sessions and an in-person gathering in February 2025, with opportunities to develop and implement community-based projects.

Eligibility
Applicants must identify as Black, African, Afro-Latinx, Afro-Indigenous, Indigenous, or a Person of Color, and have a project based in the United States. Age range is 18-28; an interview by Zoom may be required.
