The Small Grants Program VIII (SGP VIII) offers implementation research funding for African researchers and institutions to address neglected tropical diseases. It provides up to USD 65,000 for mid‑career researchers and up to USD 30,000 for early‑career researchers, aiming to strengthen national NTD programmes and foster capacity building and collaboration. The program is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and aligns with the WHO 2030 NTD Roadmap.
