The Luce/ACLS Dissertation Fellowships in American Art provide funding for graduate students conducting research on the history of art and visual culture of the United States. The program supports doctoral candidates at any stage of PhD dissertation research or writing and offers a nine- to twelve-month fellowship term. The total award includes a stipend and funds for travel and research, and fellowships are non-renewable and may be carried out in residence at the fellow’s home institution or another appropriate site.
