Walters Kundert Fellowship 2025-2026

The Walters Kundert Fellowship offers annual awards to support field research in physical geography within Arctic and/or high mountain environments, with preference for studies that advance understanding of environmental change past or present. The fellowship provides funding to recipients and is linked to the Walters Kundert Charitable Trust and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG).

Monetary award of £10,000 to support field research.

Open to post-PhD researchers affiliated with a UK university or research institute, OR Fellows and members of the Royal Geographical Society who are employed outside the UK.
