The Young ICIMOD Professionals Programme (YIPP) is a funded professional programme offering hands-on experience at ICIMOD, with placement at ICIMOD's head office in Kathmandu, Nepal. It provides opportunities to engage in research, policy dialogues, and development work related to sustainable mountain development, climate change, biodiversity, and livelihoods. Selected participants work within ICIMOD teams, developing skills in research methodologies, policy analysis, and regional cooperation, while building an international network of professionals and policymakers.

Eligibility
Applicants should have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and preferably 2-3 years of practical experience; proficiency in English is required.
