NAAS Research and Curatorial Fellowship 2025

The NAAS Research and Curatorial Fellowship 2025 is a funded, 9- to 10-month programme for cultural practitioners, scholars, and curators from Arabic-speaking countries and diasporas. It supports research and experimentation in cinema, media, and visual culture, with a requirement to produce a public-facing outcome such as publications, exhibitions, screenings, or other creative media. The fellowship includes mentoring, lectures, and opportunities to publish findings, with the aim of challenging dominant narratives and broadening participation in the cultural field.

Stipend for research, mentorship from experienced researchers and curators, monthly virtual lectures, two in-person colloquiums, and a platform to publish findings.

International applicants, including individuals, duos, and collectives, whose work engages with the fellowship topics and aims to challenge canons and explore new curatorial storytelling.
