Octavia E. Butler Fellowship Program 2025

The Octavia E. Butler Fellowship Program is a funded opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students to gain hands-on experience in climate policy, energy justice, and community-based research. Fellows receive networking opportunities with industry professionals and contribute to projects related to climate resilience, public engagement, and strategic planning for clean energy initiatives.

Stipend of $7,500; networking opportunities with industry professionals, stakeholders and community leaders; hands-on experience in climate policy, energy justice, and community-based research.

Open to current undergraduate or graduate students in relevant fields, with a focus on climate policy, environmental science, urban planning, sustainability, or related areas.
