Information

Princeton in Asia (PiA) offers immersive, paid work fellowships with host organizations across Asia for a period of one to two years. The program supports Fellows in diverse focus areas including arts and culture, education, environmental sustainability, public health, and STEM, with country placements across multiple Asian countries. Fellows receive a living stipend, health resources, pre-departure orientation, and other supports such as visa expense reimbursements and alumni network access.

Eligibility

All applicants must have a bachelor’s degree before the fellowship begins; master’s degrees are accepted, but candidates with J.D., M.D., or Ph.D. are not eligible. Citizens of any country may apply, and non-U.S. citizens must have prior exposure to the U.S. through study or residence.

Submit one online application form with two written responses, a 60-second video, a resume, unofficial transcript, demographic survey, and a recommendation form.
