Mitacs Globalink Research Award 2026–2027

The Mitacs Globalink Research Award provides funding for international collaborative research projects for eligible undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers. It supports 12–24 week projects with supervision from both home and host institutions, and offers funding to cover travel, accommodation, research expenses, and stipends up to CAD 12,000 across one or two internship units.

Open to senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows who have a home and an eligible host supervisor and can develop a research project with them.

Identify a topic, obtain a home supervisor, secure an eligible host supervisor, develop a research proposal, obtain institutional approval, and submit the application through the Mitacs process.
