AfDB-Japan Africa Dream Scholarship (AfDB-JADS)

The AfDB-Japan Africa Dream Scholarship (AfDB-JADS) is a fully funded graduate scholarship at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) for African Development Bank member-country nationals pursuing graduate studies in energy development and related disciplines. It covers full tuition, an admission fee, a monthly subsistence allowance, and economy-class international airfare between the student’s home country and Japan. The scholarship aims to develop highly skilled African professionals who can contribute to their home countries’ development.

Applicants must be nationals of AfDB member countries in Africa, be 35 years old or younger, hold at least a bachelor's degree in a related field, and have relevant professional experience and a strong academic record.
