African Development Bank-Japan Africa Dream Scholarship 2025

The Africa Development Bank-Japan Africa Dream Scholarship 2025 is a fully-funded capacity-building program for graduates pursuing a graduate degree in energy development and related disciplines. It covers tuition, living expenses, and economy class travel between the home country and the host university in Japan. The scholarship is offered to nationals of AfDB member countries who meet the eligibility criteria and intend to return to their home country after completion.

Tuition coverage, monthly living stipend, and round-trip airfare to Japan for the duration of the program.

National of an AfDB member country; 35 years old or younger; hold a bachelor’s degree in energy, agriculture, health, environmental sustainability, engineering or related areas with excellent academic records; at least 1 year of paid employment in home country or in other African countries within the past 3 years; not enrolled in a graduate degree program.
