Smithsonian Biodiversity Genomics Postdoctoral Fellowship Program 2024/2025

The Smithsonian Biodiversity Genomics Postdoctoral Fellowship Program supports in-residence research in biodiversity genomics, including phylogenomics, population genomics, metagenomics or transcriptomics, with a component of bioinformatics analysis. The program is hosted at Smithsonian facilities and encourages collaboration across locations. The stipend is $62,000 per year for 12 months, with possible additional allowances for research expenses and relocation.

Salary stipend, research allowance up to $5,000, relocation assistance possible

Applicants must be eligible to conduct in-residence research for 12 to 24 months and must have completed or be near completion of a Ph.D.
