UNDP GEF SGP OP7 Indigenous Peoples Fellowship Initiative Programme 2024

The UNDP GEF SGP OP7 Indigenous Peoples Fellowship Initiative Programme provides mentoring and capacity-building for indigenous fellows to work with SGP and regional focal points. It includes activities to strengthen Indigenous Peoples’ involvement in climate finance, grant-making, and partnerships with regional and international networks, with a fellowship duration of 18 months and a total grant allocation of US$75,000.

Proactive mentoring and capacity-building for indigenous fellows, support to involve Indigenous Peoples in climate finance processes, networking with UNDP, SGP and regional/ international Indigenous networks; potential access to climate finance mechanisms.

Open to any local CSOs, NGOs or community-based groups interested in conserving and restoring the environment while enhancing people’s livelihoods and well-being.
