EJN Virtual Reporting Fellowships to the UNCBD (COP16) and UNFCCC (COP29)

The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers two virtual fellowship opportunities for early-career environmental journalists to cover the UNCBD COP16 and the UNFCCC COP29 remotely. Fellows receive training, mentorship and a stipend to support their reporting activities, enabling them to produce in-depth coverage of biodiversity and climate negotiations for their outlets.

Training, mentorship, remote reporting support, and a $100 stipend for communications; opportunity to cover COP16/COP29.

Professional journalist from an established media outlet, reporting from Africa or Latin America, with commitment to participate fully in the fellowship activities and to produce reporting on biodiversity or climate topics.
