About this opportunity
The Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) at UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science coordinates and scaffolds summer undergraduate research opportunities within UCLA Samueli. It is designed for undergraduate engineering students who are new to research and interested in experiencing academic research and exploring graduate school pathways. Participants work on faculty-led lab projects, receive mentoring, attend professional development workshops and present their results at a final poster symposium.

Eligibility
Designed for undergraduate engineering students and intended for students who are new to research and have recently joined a lab; UCLA students are asked to complete a Student Interest Form.
How to apply
UCLA students complete a Student Interest Form; faculty enroll students by submitting a SURP Faculty Enrollment Form once funding is confirmed.
