About this opportunity

The ICGEB SAWBP Postdoctoral Fellowship offers a two-year research position for South African women researchers holding a PhD in Biotechnology or a related field. The program supports hypothesis-driven research and includes mobility opportunities to visit other ICGEB Components, along with mentoring and skills development. Selected fellows will be based at ICGEB Cape Town and may undertake projects within designated macro areas.

Eligibility

Female applicants only. Only South African citizens and South African Permanent Residents with a valid South African ID number may apply. Preference will be given to Black and disabled applicants.
